FAQ's

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we will even box and wrap your gift certificate for you.

Do you have a layaway policy?
Yes, you can purchase an item through our layaway program. Articles may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 180 days with a minimum deposit of 20% and six equal monthly payments.

Do you do cleaning?
Ray Jewelers will clean any jewelry item free of charge.

Do you check prongs? How often should I have my prongs checked?
Ray Jewelers will check your prongs free of charge. We recommend this be done at least twice per year. While this is a wise precaution, it does not serve as a guarantee against any accidental damage or loss incurred after the servicing.

Do you do repairs?
Yes, we gladly repair both jewelry and watches.

Are your repairs shipped out?
No. All repairs are done locally by our skilled bench jeweler.

Do you repair watches?
Yes, we have a local certified watch repairman who handles our watch repairs.

Do you change watch batteries?
Yes. We can often change your battery within a matter of minutes. For certain watches, including Movado's and Bulova's, our watch repairman will change the battery.

What is your return policy?
Your purchase, in new condition and accompanied by its original receipt, packaging, and accessories, may be exchanged or returned within 7 days of the original purchase date. Sale or clearance merchandise, consignment purchases, completed layaways, special orders, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. 

For any purchase made by check there will be a 10 business day wait period. Any item received as a gift and not accompanied by a sales receipt will be issued merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. 

Layaways cancelled after 30 days of the original layaway are subject to the restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price.
