The 5 C's of Buying a Diamond
Cut: The majority of the diamonds we sell are rated excellent, ideal to good in cutting. We recognize that a better cut diamond has more sparkle and brilliance.

Color: Although we can provide you with any diamond color you choose, we typically sell diamonds from D to H in color.

Clarity: While clarity in a diamond is important, we do not feel it is as important as cut and color. Clarity has less affect on how your diamond sparkles and looks to the naked eye, therefore, we feel you get a nicer diamond for the money if you choose a diamond that falls in that VS1 to SI2 clarity range.

Carat Weight: This category is pretty self-explanatory, however, we would like to share a few thoughts with you. The size of the diamond you choose should be less important than the quality of that diamond. We encourage people to buy as nice a diamond as they can afford at the time, without putting yourself in a financial bind. Finally, a quality diamond of a carat or more is so rare, that less than one percent of women worldwide will ever possess one. Isn't she "one in a million"?

Confidence: Confidence is not one of the traditional 4 C's, but we feel it is an important consideration. After all, buying a diamond is one of the most important purchases you will make in your life. Make sure you are buying your diamond from someone you trust; someone who will be there to take care of you for years to come. Ray Jewelers is that kind of place.
